Welcome to The Ceres United Methodist Church website!
Our church is located in a small community on the New York/Pennsylvania border. Actually, part of our church is
in New York state and part in Pennsylvania.
Our services average 40-50 people. We are a Bible based church with readings from both the
Old and New Testament. We do have Children's Church during the service for the younger people. There is
also a children's message as part of the regular service before the kids go downstairs.
We have both adult and children Sunday School.
Bible Study is held on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. The Fall 2005 study was on communion.
We are just completing a study on prophecy.
Communion is held the third Sunday of each month. In keeping
with the Methodist beliefs, we have an open table at communion. Everyone is welcome to participate in the sacrament.
